rotorua - smelly but pretty

So hands up if you've been to Rotorua before? You'd never forget if you had - it smells like farts. But thank goodness its beauty and its interest stuff are its saving graces. Having said that, it's a total tourist trap, there's a bajillion hotels/motels, touristy things to see and do. It's cool. When I come back and develop my photos, I will devote a whole post to this picturesquely smelly town. Another cool thing about Rotorua is that because it's near geothermal springs, it's ridiculously easy to heat water, so every halfway decent hotel/motel advertises a private spa in every room. That's a lot of spas for a town. But very, very cool all the same. Tomorrow, it's onto Auckland.
