So yeah, I'm in New Zealand - got in to Wellington at some ridiculous hour this morning. Slept, woke up at what would have been 4am Perth time and yeah, been tired and monosyllabic ever since. I've seen so many cool things today. I've been to the Beehive which is New Zealand's parliament building, Old St Paul's Church which is an Anglican cathedral builty entirely from wood, and the Te Papa which is the National Museum of NZ. It is such a massive museum, I cannot believe how much information and fun stuff (yes, I said fun stuff) into one building.
I'm looking windswept and interesting because it's very, very windy here. If you thought Perth was windy, then if you ever go to Wellington, you'll realise that the hairspray industry would be giggling in anticipation of Wellington based sales - It's that windy.
As for Valentines Day? Been too tired and touristy to do anything about it yet. But y'all have yourselves a loved-up day!
