Yesterday was beach weather. It got to 34 degrees. And quite frankly, that's hot. Never mind the fact that I spent the afternoon producing a radio show in a booth that is climate controlled to Antarctic temperatures.
Anyhoo, to cut a long story short, we went to the beach at about five. Adam and I, that is. He got killer sunburn from being outside covering the industrial relations protests for four hours straight. It looks incredibly painful. The water was freezing until you got totally saturated, but that's normal. And as per usual you get out of the water with sand in places you should never ever have sand. How does that happen? Seriously? It's not right, they should ban sand getting in uncomfortable places. Why hasn't someone made an invention that protects that kind of thing from happening?
But yes, the beach was good. I was happy. And my hair didn't even get all tangly and nasty! Yay for the beach!
