sleeeeeeep

Last night was the first time in probably about two weeks that I got to sleep before midnight. I slept for eleven hours. I feel wrecked.

I still have blue and yellow nail polish on my hands from Saturday arvo. Must remove it so I don't get mocked any further.

My arms and face are sunburnt from being paid to do nothing (read: design bags and t-shirts, finish reading a book, starting a new writing project, and yeah... maybe look after a whole Outside Broadcast unit for a commercial radio station) at the Royal Show. They're definitely burnt, but now they look tanned. Must bring sunscreen next time.

I have a geisha mask on my desk from a 21st on Saturday night. Nothing more needs to be said.

My brain is full of new info from going to a new church last night. I can't explain how much of a relief it is to go to a church that is a bit more low-key and a lot more relaxed. And get this, they actually like it if you talk to whoever's speaking during the service. We were looking at a Psalm and I really wanted to ask a question about a particular bit of it. Millsy said I should just shout out the question. I was a little apprehensive about doing that, being my first time there and all, so I said I'd ask him afterwards. So I did and Travis said, 'You should have asked me while I was up there, we encourage people to ask questions and stuff during the message. It makes it better.' Brilliant. The people there were really nice as well. They didn't feel as though they had to fake anything. If they didn't know something, they just admitted it. There's no such thing as keeping up appearances there.
