TODAY IS GRAND FINAL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
In just over two hours I will see the Eagles absolutely kick Sydney's backside!
I only have vague recollections of eleven years ago when the Eagles last won a premiership so today should be sweet, being of legal drinking age always makes sport more fun. Hmm... that gives me an idea as to how I will get through those evil, evil three months of summer that they like to call cricket - my two friends bourbon and coke. Brilliant!

But anyhoo, back to the Grand Final. I cannot wait! It's kind of like Christmas but instead of a roast lunch, there's loads of guys wearing blue and yellow running around and instead of a Christmas pudding, there's a big premiership cup with blue and yellow streamers hanging off them. Bad analogy, I know.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the first time in over a decade I can get excited about the 'one day in September'. The excitement is so palpable, I'm flapping my arms around!
