blast off

I've just arrived home from dropping Adam off at the airport. He's special enough to go on a business trip to Sydney, you see.

I don't feel sad, I don't feel particularly happy either. It's an odd sort of emotionless middle ground that I've stumbled upon.

I guess I won't feel it until Monday comes and he doesn't appear on my doorstep, same on Tuesday, Wednesday...

On the bright side, I'm trying to find a bright side.
