where did the last month go?

So I last posted on the 22nd of November.

So much stuff has happened and yet everytime my conscience said, "Jeeeeeeeeess, you should really be blogging," I swiftly replied by saying, "But nothing exciting's happened for me to blog about".

My angst-ridden posts of the last month seem completely foreign to me now. I've finished uni - had my best semester ever with two distintions and two high distinctions. Needless to say, I'll get to wear a cap and gown early next year. Damn, I love formal occasions that include an element of fancy dress.

I've changed my job at Myer. So I swapped convincing people to buy pricey consumer goods for convincing staff to rock up to work. Yeah, working in human resources rocks (note the heavy, heavy sarcasm). The upside is that I get to drink coffee at my desk.

In other very exciting news, contrary to my emo tendancies conveyed in last month's posts, I got a job interview! How cool is that?! Not only was it a job interview but it was for the ABC in the country! So basically I spent one nerve-wracking hour on the phone to three interviewers trying to convince them that I knew a lot about the country and the technology I'd be working with. I think I hammered home the good with technology bit, however, it was bleedingly obvious I was a city girl. But I told them I had a read of the Countryman and Farm Weekly - two highly riveting publications. They'll tell me the outcome in the New Year. Here's hoping it'll be good news.

Christmas has been fabulous - I've spent the past three days surrounded by people, which has been fantastic. I also spent $60 calling Karolina in the Faroes Islands. It was well worth it, plus there's plenty of places that are more expensive to call such as... Albania.

In retrospect a lot has happened since I last posted and I really should have posted.
Bad Jess. Must post more often.
