the story so far... seven months on

Hi, my name's Jess and this is still my story.

Since the last episode of the story so far... loads of crazy stuff has happened.

Ok, so not as much crazy stuff as in the last one, but crazy all the same.

So now I have a niece. Her name is Freya. She sleeps, eats and occasionally cries. She's a month old today.

What can I say? We survived.

We also have a kitten. Her name is Cinder. She's a fluffy ball of troublemaking craziness.

There's also a job in retail. It gives me money and keeps me out of trouble. Or something like that.

I have one measly semester left of my uni degree and then it's out in the big, wide scary world, but not without some last hurrahs and my first ever attendance at Triple Crown (I will try and make it next semester!)

Thing are going good. Good family, good friends. Fantastic boyfriend and fantastic prospects for the future.

I don't know what it holds, and you know what? Quite frankly, for all of the fear that I have about where I'm going to be and what I'm going to do, I don't really mind what happens. The most exciting things cannot be planned.
