She can joke about pole dancing in her games room.
Admittedly, not the best mental image one could ever hope for, but would your grandmother talk about pole dancing in such a blasée manner?
Part of her ceiling has massive cracks in it and she's got one of those pole support-y things to keep the ceiling up. She must have made the joke about her pole dancing on it to everyone that's entered her front door. One person actually thought she had taken up pole dancing.
Sometimes I think she's a 20 year old stuck in a 70-something's body...
