formal dresses, patron saints and my beatles shirt

I have a few things that I could stretch into separate posts if I could be bothered. But I can't be bothered, so here are a few paragraphs about some totally unrelated things.

Formal dresses
Everyone knows my wardrobe is casual and tomboyish to the max. Every so often, a formal event will sneak up behind me and bite me in the be-hind. I have to go to a wedding in about three weeks' time. I need to find a sexy dress. A red dress that is very summer yet sexy yet classy. I've been told that I need to look conservative. Damn. Don't worry, I've found a few possibilities.

Patron Saints
Adam's housemate is Catholic. As in uber Catholic. Yet he's still cool and he tolerate a filthy protestant like me. Last night Adam asked about patron saints and what his would be cos he was christened as a Catholic. When they started talking about feast days, I got jealous. I wish I could have a feast day. Oh, and Adam just so you know, the patron saint of journalists is St. Francis de Sales and his feast day is coming soon. He looks like this:

My Beatle Shirt
Today I bought a shirt with the Beatles screenprinted on it. I bought Adam the one with David Bowie on it. Fun for the whole family.
