...do we try and pigeonhole people's actions - the little things?
It makes me kind of shirty when people do that, when people ask why you do a certain thing that way or whatever.
People are idiosyncratic, I like to believe we're created that way. And not so that people can sit around an hypothesise why for example, I'm not always extroverted and I love every minute of it. I can't tell you why I get that way sometimes. All I know is that sometimes I feel the need to shut up. So I shut up.
Why are people so intolerant of others actions? I often sense people's (many of them close to me) condesension of things that they don't understand, things they haven't even taken the chance to sit back and comprehend that others are human. Just like them.
The world would be a better place if we didn't play the comparison game, the 'well they're different to me, I can't be bothered to understand them, I'll just bag them and their ways' game. People like that are no better than the people they bag. I wish we would just accept people as they are, not what they do or what they believe or what they do or don't say.
Vive les idiosyncracies, I say.

All I'm saying is that Christians tend to scoff at people outside the church purely and simply because they're 'not one of us'. Kind of makes me shirty that Christians bag out those that they're meant to be reaching out to in some way, shape or form. Pretty sorry state of affairs. If you don't understand someone, don't bag them out or make a song and dance of how 'they're so wrong and we're so right'. That's kind of irrelevant. They're human freakin' beings. Even the unlovable deserve people's love.
There are people who have been walking with God (yes, it's a cliche Jess, bear it) for 5, 10, 50 years, and still chugging through with it.
Maybe they should keep quiet until they do have the entire thing chugged. It may all turn out to be vapourware.
STOP COMPLAINING and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Well, we did try to have pigheads listed as vermin, but the laws have been held up in committee. =)
