I called Adam this arvo, he was just about to call me at the exact same time. Strange, huh? Anyway, that's not the point. He said, 'Come over at about 5.45ish. I've got a surprise for you.
Once I'd established it was a good surprise not a bad surprise, I got all excited. I like surprises. I like surprising people.
So I rocked up at the aforementioned time and I was flabbergasted. He had cooked me totally hand made pizza (he'll have you know that he even makes his own bases) for dinner as well as banana cake for dessert. AND he got me my favourite champagne ever: Riccardonna Asti (yes, I know it's Italian and therefore, not champagne but it's so much quicker to type 'champagne' than 'sparkling fruity sweet wine stuff'.)
Have I mentioned recently that I love him? Lots?
The verdict is that he's an insanely good cook and it sucks that I've had almost six months without him revealing this to me. But hey, I'm keeping him and all of the yummy food he cooks!
