I have two things to say/ask...
*I wanna learn German again, I wanna be able to say something more than 'ein Orangensaft, danke' and I wanna be able to speak a language that doesn't make guys' saliva glands start working over time. German is that language - it is so not sexy.
*I have a question for Ms. Mac (once she gets better of course!) - what is it with Swiss people and having their doonas hanging out their windows? I saw it when I was there 18 months ago and I thought it was odd... given it was the middle of winter at the time.

Hello my dear! The Swiss just love to air their bedding out of the windows, I have no idea why but you're quite right, they do it all year round. I have a feeling it's because they have old fashioned quilts instead of doonas in covers which are harder to wash. But they are only alowed to do it at certain times of the day, times which I have not yet ascertained so I am not game to try it for fear of being arrested!
